- Inquiry data — name, company, email, phone, project details and CAD files you submit through our quote form or by email.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and analytics cookies.
We do not collect payment card data on this website.
2. How We Use It
- To prepare quotations, DFM feedback and to fulfill orders
- To communicate about your projects and, where you have agreed, occasional updates about our services
- To improve the website through anonymized usage statistics
Legal basis under GDPR: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)), legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)), and consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a)).
3. Your CAD Files and IP
Uploaded CAD files and drawings are accessed only by the engineers preparing your quotation and are stored on access-controlled servers. We never share your designs with third parties except subcontractors bound to fulfill your order, and never use them for any other customer.
4. Data Retention
Inquiry data for projects that do not proceed is deleted within 24 months. Project and order records are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus the period required by applicable tax and customs law.
5. Your Rights (EEA / UK Visitors)
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and may withdraw consent at any time, by emailing sales@somaprototype.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. International Transfers
Data submitted to us is processed in China. Where GDPR applies, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards; you may request details via the contact above.
7. Cookies
We use functional cookies required for the site to operate and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can refuse analytics cookies via the consent banner or your browser settings.
