Replacement Gears for Appliances & Equipment

Many appliances are designed with a sacrificial plastic gear — the part that fails on purpose so the motor survives. Manufacturers know it. Repair shops know it. The problem is buying the gear: OEMs stop stocking it or price it like a new machine. We mold and machine replacement gears in production-grade resin and keep them in wholesale supply.

Flagship Program: Stand Mixer Worm Gear

The most famous sacrificial gear in the appliance world: the worm follower gear in tilt-head and bowl-lift stand mixers. When the mixer jams, this gear strips — protecting the motor and gearbox. It is a wear item by design, and millions of mixers in US and European kitchens will need one eventually.

More Sacrificial-Gear Programs

The same pattern — one plastic gear designed to fail, OEM supply slow or discontinued — repeats across appliance categories. Send the model number and we confirm fitment from our tooling list or measure your sample.

Bread Machines

Kneading paddle drive gears and belts pulleys — the #1 failure point on most brands.

Sewing Machines

Timing and hook drive gears for discontinued domestic and industrial models.

Treadmills & Gym Equipment

Motor drive pulleys, incline gears and roller bushings — high-wear, high-repeat items.

Food Processors & Blenders

Drive couplers and gear sockets — the classic sacrificial interface part.

Coffee & Vending Machines

Brew-group and dispensing gears for operators maintaining fleets.

Printers & Office Equipment

Fuser and feed gears for long-life machines whose OEM parts ended years ago.

How It Works

①

Model Number or Sample

Quote from our existing tooling list, or send the stripped gear — broken is fine, we measure what matters.

②

Fitment Confirmed

First article in production resin, checked against the original — tooth profile, hub, and press-fit.

③

Stocked & Restocked

The mold stays with us. Reorder at your locked price whenever your shelves run low.

Materials That Match the Original

Sacrificial gears must fail at the right load — too soft and they strip early, too hard and they take the motor with them. We mold in POM (acetal), PA66 and glass-filled PA to match the original failure behavior, with machined steel or brass hubs where the original used them. Material certificates and batch dimensional reports are available with every lot.

One gear keeps a machine out of the landfill.

Send the model number or the stripped gear. Fitment confirmation and a wholesale quotation within 24 hours.
